Advancing Cannabis Science Through Quality Research

The Institute of Cannabis Research (ICR) has been advancing unbiased and innovative cannabis research since its inception in 2016. The mission of the ICR is aimed at supporting the public benefit by producing the highest quality cannabis research and the ICR engages the best and brightest researchers throughout Colorado.

However, although the State of Colorado invests funds generated by taxes on cannabis sales to support independent research through the ICR, the annual requests for funding of quality cannabis research exceeds state allocated resources by 10-15 fold. Fortunately, Colorado legislators had the foresight to give the ICR the ability to accept gifts and donations to support cannabis research. The ICR is accepting donations to accelerate the advancement of cannabis science. This is an outstanding opportunity to build upon the investment that the State of Colorado has made in advancing the best cannabis research.
